First National Conference on speleotherapy with international participation (Romania)

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we have the honor to invite you to take part in the proceedings of the First National Conference on speleotherapy with international participation, which will be held from 6 to 8 October 2011 in Turda - Cluj County.
The event is organized under the project of the National RDI Plan 42120/2008 "Complex medical and biological study for potential therapeutic use of innovative environmental factors of salt mines and caves for balneoclimatic health and tourism, their modeling solutions" - by National Institute for Rehabilitation, Physical Medicine and Balneoclimatology, Bucharest - coordinator of the project along with consortium partners in the project: National Institute for Medical Research and Development - "Victor Babes", National Salt Company SALROM SA with The Branches Cacica Salt Mine and Ocna Dej Salt Mine, National Institute for Research Development in Tourism, University of Bucharest - Faculty of Biology, City Hall Dej and the National Institute of Research and Development for Physics and Nuclear Engineering "Horia Hulubei", together with the Romanian Association of Balneology, City Council and City Hall of Turda and C.S.Turda Salt Mine Durgau S.A .
The conference will be a special occasion to debate issues of interest in medical and scientific research on the speleotherapeutic potential of some saline and caves, as outlined development prospects in this field.
The conference will be held under the auspices of The Executive Unit for Financing of Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation (UEFISCDI – MECTS) - MERYS Romania; The Commission on Speleotherapy, UIS affiliated to UNESCO; Academy of Medical Sciences, Romania and the Romanian Society of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

Works Presentations:

 Duration is 10 minutes per presentation
 Scientific abstracts, written on a page in Romanian / English will be sent to the secretariat of the organizing committee by email: secretar@bioclima.ro, hoteteu@yahoo.com, until 30 September 2011 and will be published in the volume of abstracts of the conference,
 Presentations will be supported with power-point in Romanian or English and will be loaded at the time of recording attendance at event,
 Articles in full will be sent to the Organizing Committee Secretariat Email: secretar@bioclima.ro , hoteteu@yahoo.com , until 30 November 2011 and will be published in the papers volume of the conference.
